Nightmarish Photoshop
Ran into this surfing yesterday on Boing Boing. Check out the contest. My favorites are “she comes to me”, “Mom’s Worst Nightmare” and “Bloody Girl”. I can’t honestly say that any of them actually frighten me but if I had to pick one it would have to be Bloody Girl. Something about psycho little girls gets to me. I think it’s from watching The Shining by myself as a kid, in an old two-story house in the Matthews, NC country side. Those two little girls scared the hell* out of me, I wanted to stop watching but I was to afraid to leave the couch so I sat there with those images burning into my retinas. I’m lucky the boy’s name was Danny, whose knows what would have happened if they said “Come and play with us Alex”. It took years before I would watch the movie again. It’s kind of funny actually, I’m 6′3″ and weigh about 190lbs so there is no logical threat posed at all by a psychotic little girl. I guess if it gets you while you’re young….
