Did they have electric guitars in the Stone Age?

Picked up Stone Age Complication by Queens of the Stone Age a couple of days ago. It is a collection of rare tracks and B-sides. I highly recommend it if you are a Queens fan that is. I especially like “Wake up Screaming” and “Born to Hula”. The “No One Knows” remix was also good as well as the other tracks. I picked it up for $7 at Criminal Records a pretty good deal in my opinion.
