I have a new gallery up on my site. These are some pictures I took at a birthday party for Ria’s Bluebird Cafe. I was a little drunk when I took them but I think most of them turned out ok.

There are actually three new galleries but I haven’t finished uploading to the other two. I will post an announcement when I finish.

Speaking of He-Man, check out this video I found on memepool. It reminds me of the Super Friends wazzzup video.

Too funny,

Does this ever happen to you?

Occasionally I will look at the time and see something easily recognizable. For example 4:20, 9:11, 7:11, 3:33, etc. At those moments I think to myself: Wow, that’s cool. When I look at the clock it always has an interesting time on it.

Trouble is, I know that’s not true. I check the time quite a bit and it is usually some boring number. For instance it is 6:14 right now. Given enough time I’m sure I could come up with something for 6:14. But my point is it didn’t make an immediate impression on me. So for most cases I glance at the time then completely push it out of my mind, until the next interesting number pops up.

6:35

About three weeks ago I took some pictures of Twelfth Planet at the East Atlanta Strut. I put them up in my gallery and let the band know. It turns out they liked the photos and put some on their site!

Check it out: http://www.twelfthplanet.org/

Go see them play if you have a chance, I’m sure you’ll be blown away.

Are you a geek that wants a tattoo? Can’t decide what to get? You know those armband tats everyone has now? It started with the barbed wire then moved onto Celtic designs. Well now they are more common than watered down tequila shots in Tijuana. What’s that you say? You still want an armband tattoo? Well I have a solution for you! Get one in binary. Just plug in what you want into your trusty converter and head to your local parlor.

Yesterday I was trying to call a friend of mine to wish her happy birthday. I knew her cell phone was shutoff awhile back but I figured I would try anyway. Turns out the number belongs to someone else now, so I hung up during the voicemail message.

Later on that night I received a call from that number. I answer: “Hello?”
Caller: “Someone called me from this number a little while ago.”
Av: “Yeah, that was a few hours ago. Someone I know used to have that phone number.”
Caller: Starts saying something.
Av: I Interrupt her and say “Thank you” then hangup.

Maybe I was a little rude but that is one of my pet peeves. If I wanted to talk to this person I would have left a fucking message! Obviously she didn’t know who I was, so why bother calling back? If I see an unknown number in my call history and there is no message I don’t worry about it. I figure it’s a wrong number and don’t feel the need to call it and grill the person on the other side.

How dare you call my phone! This number is for people I give it out to only. Unless you are telling me I won the lottery you are wasting my time. I’m also using my minutes up by placing this call, so expect a bill from me!

This has happened to me a few times before (callbacks, not getting chewed out). Maybe it’s just people’s curiosity I guess. Next time it happens to me I’m going to ask the person why they’re calling. Maybe that will shed some light on the subject.

This post really fizzled out towards the end…
