Bewildered wonder

Sometimes things that you wish for but think will never happen do come to pass. At least in my case it has. I still don’t quite believe it. Things like this only happen in movies and novels, at least that’s what I thought.

Hobbits were a distinct species

Scientists have confirmed that the Hobbits discovered were in fact a distinct species!

“The analysis, released by the journal Science, of computer scans and inner skull molds shows that the hobbit’s small brain, one-third the size of a modern human’s, had enlarged regions associated with complex decision-making, name recognition and speech.”

Analysis Shows Prehistoric ‘Hobbit’ a Distinct Species

.5cm, but it’s how you use it….

Here’s an interesting article on men’s finger lengths and aggressiveness. My index fingers are half a centimeter shorter than my ring fingers (measured at the joint). That’s 1 cm of PURE RAGE BABY!!!!!WHO WANTS TO STEP UP? I thought so!

Vegas trip wrap up

The Good:

Kip and Jolene got married
Hanging out with friends and my cousin
Seeing a casino loaded with Santas!!!
Wearing my smoking Mickey shirt and watching people’s reactions
Lots of exercise from stair running and walking
Having a hot married woman flirt with me (she started the conversation)

The Bad:

The hotel did not have a record of my reservation from Travelocity (second time this has happened to me)
Down $94 (not counting trip cost, food and alcohol)
Negating all the exercise I did by drinking so much
Hanging out in lame clubs
Dead Kennedys show being cancelled
I got sick on the last day which made travelling all the more miserable

The Ugly:

Nothing, there is beauty in all things (even in Vegas)

Verdict:

It was a great trip and I had more fun than I expected.
