I was listening to “The Power of Fundamentalism” yesterday on Speaking of Faith. I was only able to catch the Islam portion and half of the Christian segment (was invited to dinner by my neighbor). I plan on listening to the rest tonight, just hearing the first segment is enough to recommend it though. I have long felt we should be trying to understand where this hatred is coming from instead of just trying to destroy it (which will never happen). I think people on all sides would benefit from seeing the others point of view. Of course this is nothing new, we are told this constantly throughout our lives but most people (including myself) never seem to put it into practice when it is most needed.
