I am a big [tag]tea[/tag] drinker. Yes I admit it, I have a problem. I drink four or more cups a day on a regular basis, generally [tag]Rooibos[/tag] or [tag]white tea[/tag] with the occasional cup of green. Every addiction has it’s price though, a can of thirty-six organic Rooibos tea bags runs me about $8 and fifty white tea bags is about $15. Luckily I saw this post on [tag]Treehugger[/tag] directing me to MySips Tea Company. They sell bulk bags of Rooibos and [tag]Yerba Mate[/tag] along with something new to me [tag]Green Rooibos[/tag]. Green Rooibos is unfermented so it has higher levels of antioxidants than the Red. The taste is a little different but I like it, if you are already a red tea fan you shouldn’t have any issues with it. Now if only I could find two pound bags of white tea for less than $75.

I’ve not tried green rooibos, but I’ve drank red from time to time. I’m a big silver needle fan though, so I understand the pain of white tea pricing.

As far as affordable tea, I’ve found that http://www.enjoyingtea.com has very affordable prices and they have some rooibos blends that look interesting. They also have the best prices i’ve found on teapots & accessories.

Oh, and if you like rooibos you should also try honeybush tea.
